I would tell you what you want to know if I could, mum, but I be a cat.
And no cat anywhere, ever gave anyone a straight answer.

Do you believe in anything, Maurice?
Pleasure, I like. I've tried to give pleasure. That's all I'd recommend to anyone.

dislikes +
People demand freedom of speech to make up for the freedom of thought which they avoid.

ignorance, intolerance, rudeness. arrogance, violence. lack of love, lack of interest. narrowness of mind. most religions. moralism, prudeness.
fandom & livejournal +
My first and foremost activity on lj is taking part in the ASoIaF fandom, namely westerosorting. Other fandoms are Harry Potter, Bleach and the Kushiel trilogy. I draw (fanarts, occasionally) which you may find here and write fanfictions (in Italian), mostly published here. (Ma anche una fanfiction a quattro mani su Harry Potter qui su lj.)
I also have a YT channel, tumblr and twitter.
instructions +
The surest way to corrupt a youth is to instruct him to hold in higher esteem those who think alike than those who think differently.

This is a "mostly friends" blog, but you're welcome to friend me, just leave me a line about you.
Just be warned: I'm an atheist, leftist, LGBTQIA+ friendly, and I could occasionally talk about those things. Everybody is entitled to his/her own opinion, but if some of those bother you, I just hope you'll be able to handle this blog.

The Devil is not the Prince of Matter; the Devil is the arrogance of the spirit, faith without smile, truth that is never seized by doubt.
The Devil is grim because he knows where he is going, and, in moving, he always returns whence he came.

[The Name of the Rose]

I've dreamt in my life dreams that have stayed with me ever after, and changed my ideas; they've gone through and through me, like wine through water, and altered the colour of my mind.
[Wuthering Heights]

But I always want to know the things one shouldn't do.
So as to do them?
So as to choose.

[Portrait of a Lady]

In Thautropfen will ich hinuntersinken und mit der Asche mich vermischen.
[Hymnen an die Nacht]

The basis of optimism is sheer terror.
[The Portrait of Dorian Gray]

C'est comme ça, la vie : si vous rencontrez un être humain dans la foule, suivez-le,… suivez-le.
[La fée carabine]
